Health and safety protocols for Roncesvalles United Church in-person service,
beginning September 13, 2020
All congregants must wear a mask while inside the building.
All congregants must enter through the front doors and exit through the parking lot/accessible entry doors. Exceptions will be made for those with mobility issues who cannot manage the outside stairs.
Hand sanitizer will be placed inside the front door.
Greeters (wearing masks) will welcome people as they arrive, record the name and phone number of each individual or family group and answer questions about our arrangements inside the sanctuary.
There will be no paper announcements or hand-outs.
An offering plate will be placed at the entrance to the sanctuary and at the exit.
Every second pew will be cordoned off, to create social-distancing.
Hymn books and Bibles will be removed from the pews.
Arrows will be taped to the sanctuary aisles.
There will be no singing, handshakes or “coffee time”.
Speakers may remove their masks during their part.
Microphones will not be shared.
If there are guest musicians, they will be significantly socially-distanced from the congregation and not include vocalists.
