Kindred Kitchen Notes
Our Kindred Kitchen volunteers are now operating weekly "bread runs," linking bakeries with bread to share with local shelter programs.
We can also pack delicious, nutritious lunches to go for our guests. In-person dining happens on Sundays at 1:00pm.

Our Collaborators
Kindred Kitchen
We gladly cook & serve 15,000 fresh meals each year for people in need.
The services we offer through Kindred Kitchen are free and come with the offering of warm clothing, companionship, dignity and the valuable sense of belonging.
We serve a hearty lunch every Sunday at 1:00pm.

Not Just Tourists
Our partner group and volunteers pick up unused medical supplies from local hospitals, clinics and people who have been caring for a loved one.
We store and sort them at the RUC and send them out internationally on an regular basis.
This year, we will save 100,000 lbs of medical supplies from landfills.
We are always seeking support with this one!
Roncesvalles Refugee Relief
The RUC is partnering with the Roncesvalles Refugee Relief, a local group committed to raising funds for sponsoring folks fleeing to Canada.
A group made of neighbours and friends, they are a group of concerned residents who aid newcomer families through the entire resettlement process.
We recommend reading more of their successful support stories.

Many health, wellness and children’s groups rent space in our building.
You’re welcome to visit our building where you will find information about all of the activities available, and the practitioners offering programs and services here.

Our Minister, Anne Hines, is available for one-on-one spiritual conversation.
You do not have to be a member of the Roncesvalles United Church, or any other faith group, to make an appointment.

Volunteers Always Welcome!
We always welcome folks of all kinds willing to support with their time & talent. We are seeking extra hands for a variety of tasks - whether you wish to be a greeter for Sunday Service, or, if you want to keep your hands busy by supporting our meal program.
