Every Sunday Morning at 10:30 am
Our doors are closed, but our hearts are still open, and we are finding lots of safe ways to continue serving our community, with these important programs.
Our Dinner with Dignity volunteers are now operating weekly "bread runs," linking bakeries with bread to share with shelters programs.
And a small but dedicated group of DWD volunteers are safely preparing sandwiches, socks, juice or water and safely delivering to people living on the streets
Through a new partnership with Toronto Cares, we're helping provide free and PWYC grocery boxes to families in need in Parkdale and Etobicoke.
Support for Local Farmers:
We've partnered with Sorauren Market who can't currently access their building, to provide pre-ordered "green" box pick-up in our parking lot, enabling local farmers to continue to sell their produce. Check out the Sorauren Market website for more information about how you can place an order..
Spiritual Support and Care:
Our weekly video worship service is widely viewed each week, by RUC members and those watching online in many other places. You can find each week's video on our Facebook page or by clicking "weekly sermon" above.
Sunday, 1 pm zoom spiritual study group: Explores a different spiritual growth topic each week. Find the log-on information here and on Facebook.
Calls and cards connecting RUC members with companionship, help with errands and more.
To donate to help us continue this important work, you can send an e-transfer to or donate through Canada Helps.
The following programs are currently on hold (but returning soon, we hope!)

Newcomers Kitchen &
Our partnership with the Arab Community Centre of Toronto provides newcomer women with opportunities to learn English, cook together and supplement their income by catering delicious, traditional Middle Eastern meals. Make your next gathering special by hiring our wonderful cooks!
Roncesvalles United Church also partners with other churches to sponsor newcomer families.
Not Just Tourists
Our partner group picks up unused medical supplies from local hospitals, clinics and from people who have been caring for a loved one in their home. We store and sort them here at Roncesvalles United Church and then send them out free-of-charge to countries in need. This year, we will save 100,000 lbs of medical supplies from going into Ontario landfills and, instead, send them to Africa, the Caribbean and other vulnerable countries. We love volunteers!
Church of the Beatitudes
Ordained women Catholic priests offer a traditional Catholic mass in our sanctuary twice each month. We are so pleased to welcome the Church of the Beatitudes who help us live out our understanding of God's inclusive love.
Spiritual Discussion Groups and support
We offer a variety of spiritual discussion and learning opportunities. Check our events page regularly for our upcoming gatherings or, subscribe to our weekly online newsletter.
And, our minister, Anne Hines is available for one-on-one spiritual conversation. You don't have to be a member of this or any other faith group to make an appointment.
Health, wellness and joy for kids and adults... and in so many ways!
We host a variety of kids' art, drama and sports programs as well as alternative healing practitioners and the city's beautiful yoga studio. Find a therapist, join a yoga class or sign up for one of our many special events.
