Indigenous artist Philip Cote has completed a ground-breaking artwork. He carved one of our century-old church pews into a "Unity Banner" commemorating the sacred Anishinaabe medicine wheel.

On June 21 2025, the installation was revealed in the Sanctuary of Roncesvalles United Church.

Philip Cote spoke about his latest piece.
